NON-IMMIGRANT VISA

A visa means an endorsement made on a travel document by the consular officer denoting that the visa application has been properly examined and that the bearer is permitted to proceed to the country of his destination. The visa thus issued is not a guarantee that the holder will be admitted into the Philippines. Admission of aliens is a function of the immigration authority at the port of entry.

For Thai passport holders and citizens of selected countries, visa requirement is waived 30 days in the Philippines. Those who intend to stay beyond this period are advised to apply for visa before they travel. Foreign visitors entitled to the 30-day no-visa privilege can also apply for extension of their stay in the Philippines right upon their arrival at the airport.  For more information, please refer to www.immigration.gov.ph.

For the list of nationals who may enter the Philippines without a visa for a certain period, please follow this link:

Those who are classified as restricted nationals need to secure Philippine visas before their intended travel.
