On 6 October 2018, Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon attended Championship Dinner of the 10th Asian Schools Debate Championship (ASDC) 2018 hosted by Panyarat High School, Bangkok.

The Philippines was represented by teams from Ateneo Senior High School, De La Salle University Manila Integrated School, and De La Salle Santiago Zobel School.

De La Salle Santiago Zobel School won as Grand Champion of the 10th ASDC, De La Salle University Manila Integrated School was the Grand Finalist or First Runner-up. While Mr. Christopher Jose Carlos of Ateneo Senior High School was the Champion for Public speaking category.

The Philippine schools dominated the competition that participated by schools Thailand, Mongolia, Malaysia and Bangladesh.
