On Sunday, 10 June 2018, the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand commemorated the 120th proclamation of Philippine Independence with the Filipino community, with a flag raising ceremony, a Thanksgiving Salo-Salo, and providing consular and overseas registration services.
The program for the flag raising ceremony included the singing of the Philippine National anthem, recitation of “Panunumpa sa Watawat”, welcome remarks and message by Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon, and reading of the message of Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano by Deputy Chief of Mission Mary Anne Padua. The Embassy also hosted a Filipino Thanksgiving Salo-Salo for the Filipino community. As a public service, the Consular Section was also opened to the public, with no lunch break.
Around 150 Filipinos, including Embassy personnel and their families, joined the event while around 60 Filipinos availed consular and overseas registration services.

On 10 June 2018, Sunday, the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok celebrated with the Filipino community the 120th Proclamation of Philippine Independence at the Embassy grounds with a Flag Raising Ceremony, Thanksgiving Salo-Salo and provision of consular and overseas registration services to those who wished to avail of said services that Sunday.
