On 15 June 2018, Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon attended the 8th Srinakharinwirot University International Festival of Arts and Culture held at the Music and Performing Art Hall, Srinakharinwirot University.

This annual festival is organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Srinakharinwirot University which aims to promote national heritage to younger generation and to exchange knowledge from different cultures.

Aside from 18 universities from all over Thailand, international performers from USA, Fiji, Malaysia, Czech Republic, India, Sri Lanka, Russia, Indonesia and the Philippines participated in the festival.

Performers from the Philippines are students and alumni from Ignacio Villamor High School in Manila.
