The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok conducted a consular outreach mission in Phuket on 29-31 2018. Members of the team from the Philippine Embassy delivered various consular services as well as overseas registration voting services.

The team was led by Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon, who visited the Filipino community in Phuket and met with newly-elected officers of the Association of Filipinos in Thailand (AFT) – Phuket Chapter. The Ambassador also met with the Governor of Phuket, Mr. Norraphat Plodthong, as well as representatives from the police and immigration authorities to discuss the general situation of Filipinos living in Phuket.
