The Embassy through its Gender and Development (GAD) Section conducted the “Seminar on Migration: Rights and Responsibilities of Overseas Workers” at the Embassy Conference Room on 19 December 2017.
Ms. Pukchanok Pattanatabud and Ms. Naruephon Ploy Boonyaban from the International Organization for Migration Regional Office served as speakers during the activity. The topics they discussed during the activity is as follows: 1) foreign workers’ rights in Thailand, 2) foreign workers’ responsibilities, 3) current challenges and how to respond to them; and 4) official assistance and support offices for foreign workers.
Forty-one (41) participants attended the seminar.
