On 13 March 2018, Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon attended the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Dinner of the 2nd ASEAN Youth Representatives in Experiencing the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy 2018 held at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Bangkok which was organized by the Office of the Prime Minister of the Royal Thai Government.
The program is on 11-21 March 2018 and aims to provide the youth participants on how the philosophy of sufficiency economy can be applied in different contexts in their own countries as well as to inspire the participants to become crucial change agents for sustainable development.
Aside from the representatives from ASEAN member countries, two guest countries (Kingdom of Bhutan and Democratic Socialist Republic of Sir Lanka) were also invited to participate.
