Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon joined other diplomats from foreign embassies in Thailand, in the 7th Celebration of Thai Silk, Thai Silk to the World 2017”, an annual signature event held to commemorate the efforts and contribution of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit in the development of Thai silk industry.
Organized by the Tourist Assistance Foundation, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Ministry of Culture, Queen Sirikit’s Department of Sericulture, and the members of the Diplomatic Corps, this year’s event was held on 25 November 2017 at the Centara Grand Convention Centre, CentralWorld, Bangkok. The opening ceremony was presided over by Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the event Prof. Wissanu Krea-ngam.
