On 16 October 2017, Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon attended the Networking Reception of Southeast Asia –Europe Joint Funding Scheme (JFS) for Research and Innovation held last at Four Point by Sheraton Hotel. The reception was co-organized by Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS) and National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) as part of the JFS Scientific Council meeting.
The objective of the JFS is to bring together Southeast Asian and Europe researchers and innovators to collaborate on topics of mutual interest. It intends to pave the way for sustainable cooperation between research and innovation projects, enhancing bio-regional cooperation, developing new partnerships and strengthen existing ones; and exchanging knowledge and best practice approaches.
