Philippine Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon welcomed Dr. Juan Antonio Perez III, Executive Director of the Commission on Population, Ms. Galanne Deressa, Programme Specialist, UN Population Fund--Asia and the Pacific Regional Office, and Ms. Maria Angela Villalba, Executive Director of Unlad Kabayan (based in the Philippines) to the Embassy on  7 July 2017. Dr. Perez III and Ms. Villalba participated in an Experts Group Meeting hosted by the UN Population Fund--Asia and the Pacific Regional Office on 5-6 July 2017.
