Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon visited the southern provinces of Songkhla (950 km south of Bangkok) and Pattani (100 km west of Songkhla) on 18 and19 February 2017, respectively, to meet local Thai government officials and members of the Filipino community.
Mr. Weranaan Pengjun, the Governor of Pattani Province, and Mr. Anusart Suwanmongkol, Member of the National Legislative Assembly of Thailand, welcomed the Ambassador to their provinces.
