Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon paid a courtesy call on Thai National Reform Steering Assembly Chairman Captain Thinapan Nakata on 8 December 2016 at the Thai Parliament Building.

The two officials exchanged information about national reform and governance initiatives. They also discussed areas of bilateral cooperation, and looked forward to further strengthening relations between the Philippines and Thailand, including in the context of the Philippine chairmanship of ASEAN in 2017.
