The Philippines, through the Department of Tourism Marketing Office based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (PDOT-KL), participated in the 19th Thailand International Travel Fair, held on 14-17 July 2016, at Queen Sirikit Convention Center, Bangkok.
Ms. Datin Melissa Ong and Ms. Belle Ramil of PDOT-KL arranged Philippine tourism marketing and promotional activities in coordination with participating travel agencies in the TITF. Around 700 booths representing travel agencies, tourist destinations, hotels, tourism and lifestyle organizations participated in the event. The fair will run from 14 to 17 July 2016 and is expected to generate over THB 400 million (USD 11.5 million) in sales. END
