Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon models Philippine traditional costume
The Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Mrs. Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon, upon the invitation of Prof. Dr. Sujin Jinahyon, President of Naresuan University, participated in Abhorn 3: “The Magical Spell of ASEAN Textiles” a special event to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Naresuan University held from 20 to 22 November 2015 at Lifestyle Hall, Siam Paragon, Bangkok.
The special event is composed of two types of exhibitions: One is a collection of ASEAN traditional costumes belonging to Mr. Paothong Thongchua, renowned specialist of textiles and cultures, along with the textiles designed by Naresuan University and the other is a fashion show of 15 clothing designed by Dr. Danai Reabsakul, Vice Dean, Student Affairs, showcased by Naresuan students and ASEAN traditional costumes showcased by representatives from the ASEAN Embassies in Thailand.
Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon participated in the fashion show of traditional costumes together with the Mrs. Tenridolong Syam, spouse of the Indonesian Ambassador, and representatives from the other ASEAN embassies in Thailand.
