The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok joined the nation in celebrating the 37th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week on 17-23 July 2015 by staging a Poster Exhibit/Information Campaign open to the public for two weeks at the Consular Section of the Embassy.
Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon opened the exhibit at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 27 July 2015. The exhibit highlighted the Philippines’ efforts towards the effective integration of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) into the mainstream of society. These include the Department’s services and programs available for PWDs as well as Post’s current projects to make the Embassy more PWD-friendly.
