Mrs. Sylvia M. Reyes discussed and presented cooking demonstration of popular Philippine dishes.

 

Philippine Embassy in Bangkok participates in the production of an online media on the national dishes of all the ASEAN Countries for the establishment of the Research and Development Project for the AEC Cooking Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) through interview of Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia and cooking demonstration of popular Philippine dishes by Mrs. Sylvia M. Reyes, Cultural Officer and Attache, in line with the Embassy’s Culinary Diplomacy Program. 

 

Mrs. Reyes presented five (5) Philippine dishes, namely, chicken adobo, sinigang na baboy, ukoy, palitaw and sotanghon guisado on 8 July 2015 at Suan Dusit School of Culinary Arts, together with Dr. Chutipapha Suwankanit, Lecturer at School of Culinary Arts of Suan Dusit Rajabhat University.   

 

The project is being conducted by the e-Learning Center of Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, designated by the Thai Office of Higher Education Commission, and will be launched by the end of this year, coinciding with the establishment of ASEAN Community.
