The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok and the Office of the Special Agriculture Representative (OSAR) welcomed a delegation composed of members of the Philippine House Committee on Aquaculture and Fisheries Resources and officials from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) on 5 July 2015. The delegation, headed by 4^th District of Cebu Representative Benhur Salimbangon, visited Thailand to observe the country’s aquaculture and fisheries industry. Rep. Salimbangon is the Chair of the House Committee on Aquaculture and Fisheries Resources.
