The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok and the Office of the Special Agriculture Representative (OSAR) welcomed a delegation composed of members of the Philippine House Committee on Aquaculture and Fisheries Resources and officials from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) on 5 July 2015. The delegation, headed by 4th District of Cebu Representative Benhur Salimbangon, visited Thailand to observe the country’s aquaculture and fisheries industry. Rep. Salimbangon is the Chair of the House Committee on Aquaculture and Fisheries Resources.
