AMBASSADOR JOCELYN BATOON-GARCIA PAYS COURTESY CALL ON HER ROYAL HIGHNESS PRINCESS MAHA CHAKRI SIRINDHORN

 

 

Philippine Ambassador to Thailand, Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia, paid a courtesy call on Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on 18 February 2015 at the Chitralada Palace in Bangkok.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presenting "The Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant" to Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia.

 

 

During the courtesy call, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn conferred "The Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant" on Ambassador Batoon-Garcia on behalf of His Majesty the King. The Order was established in 1861 by King Rama IV and is presented to Thai and foreign dignitaries in recognition of their services to the Kingdom of Thailand. It consists of a Pendant, a Red Sash with yellow, blue and green trims, and a Star. 

 

Ambassador Batoon-Garcia thanked His Majesty the King and HRH Princess for the Royal decoration. She likewise expressed deep gratitude to the Royal Thai Government and the Thai people for the support and cooperation they have given to her and the Embassy during her term, and requested that the same level of support be extended to her successor.
