UNESCAP Executive Secretary Dr. Shamshad Akhtar hosted a farewell lunch for Ambassador Batoon-Garcia on 24 March 2015 at the UNESCAP Secretariat Building. Amb. Garcia took the opportunity to express her appreciation for the active leadership and cooperation of Executive Secretary Dr. Akhtar. She also thanked the ESCAP Division Directors and Officers for their assistance to the Philippine Mission to the UNESCAP.
