The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok recently participated with an exhibit booth in the ASEAN Week 2015 organized by the Department of Public Relations, Office of the Prime Minister held at Plaza Square, Central World Mall from 3 to 5 March 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The 3-day event promoted ASEAN awareness among the Thai people through various activities such as concerts, cultural performances, ASEAN quizzes and exhibition booths.

M.L. Panadda Diskul, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, delivered the opening speech and Mr. Apinan Juntarungsri, Director-General of the Thai Government Public Relations Department, presided over the opening ceremony. In his remarks, M.L. Panadda described briefly touched on the history of establishment of ASEAN organization, congratulated the Department of Public relations headed by Mr. Apinan for hosting the event to promote awareness of ASEAN among the Thai people and thanked the participating Embassies for cooperating in the success of the event.
