TV hosts Mr. Varin Sachdev and Miss Thanchanok Jongyotying interviewed Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia as their special guest in the television show The Diplomat, one of the highlighted shows of SpringNews, on 12 January 2014, at the Philippine Embassy.

During the interview, Ambassador Batoon-Garcia discussed her role as an Ambassador in the Thailand, the status of the diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Thailand, information on Filipinos in Thailand and the preparations for the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015. Ambassador Batoon-Garcia also presented some Philippine textiles from various regions in the Philippines.
