On 14 November 2014, Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia and the Philippine Embassy officials called on Governor Piti Kaewsalubsee of the Province of Sukhothai in Northwestern Thailand. Amb.Batoon-Garcia took the opportunity to introduce the incoming Philippine Honorary Consul, Mr. Agkarajit Phanomvan Na Ayudhya, even though Sukhothai was not part of his jurisdiction.Shepraised the uniqueness of the Sukhothai tourism opportunities. They also discussed the province’s strategic plans for ASEAN integration as well as possible partnerships between Sukhothai Province and the Philippines.
