Philippine Embassy Officials in Bangkok Call on the Governor of the Province of Uttaradit in Thailand and Meet with Filipino Community

On 13 November 2014, Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia and other Embassy Officials called on Vice Governor Somchai Kamonteptewin of the Province of Uttaradit in Northwestern Thailand. Ambassador Batoon-Garcia and the Governor talked about how to grow economic relations between the Province of Uttaradit and the Philippines, especially through tourism and trade. They also discussed about how to increase the Filipino community’s contributions to Uttaradit, and promote better relationsbetween the local government units the Filipino community.Ambassador Batoon-Garcia took the opportunity to introduce the incoming Philippine Honorary Consul, Mr. Agkarajit Phanomvan Na Ayudhya, to the Governor, local officials, and the Filipino community.
