Manila Concert Choir (MCC) Performs in Bangkok

The Manila Concert Choir (MCC) held two successful free concert performances in Bangkok on 21 and 22 November 2014, organized through the Philippine Embassy Cultural Diplomacy Program to promote Philippine music and generate interest in the Philippines and Philippine tourism through the Embassy cultural promotion program.

The first performance was held at the Asok Montri Music and Performing Arts Hall I of the Srinakharinwirot University on 21 November 2004 through the Embassy collaboration with the Western Music Department, Faculty of Fine Arts of the Srinakharinwirot University with an audience of 300. The second performance was held at the Embassy grounds on 22 November 2014 before an appreciative group of Thai alumni of Philippine schools.

Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia was interviewed by Khun Sippachai Kunnuwong, Creative Writer and reporter of The Thai Public Broadcasting Services (Thai PBS) before the performance on 21 November 2014 which was aired at Thai PBS news on 23 November.
