Prof. Miriam Coronel Ferrero, Chairperson of Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP), received the N-Peace 2014 Award in the category “Campaigning for Action: Women and Men Mobilizing for Peace” in a ceremony held on 24 October 2014 in Bangkok. The category recognizes mobilization and advocacy efforts which resulted in the advancement of women, peace and security issues.

N-Peace (Engage for Peace, Equality, Access, Community and Empowerment) is a multi-country initiative managed by UNDP with support from Au said to further the women, peace and security agenda and promote broader conflict prevention and peace building work in the Asia.
