Three (3) youth officers from the Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) participated in the ASEAN+3 Tourism Students Summit, which was held in Bangkok and Chonburi Province on 19-26 October 2014.

During the Summit, the three (3) made a presentation on the Philippine tourism industry in general, its achievements and the Philippine National Tourism Development Plan. They were Administrative Assistant Ms. Rochelle Anne Catamora, Tourism Officer Mr. Ryan Ramos Carlos, and Tourism Operations Officer Ms. Maria Teresita Caringal (Tourism Operations Officer).

The Embassy’s Second Secretary Ms. Princes Tomas-Tayao met with them and listened to their presentation on 20 October 2014.
