The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok joined UN officials and other diplomatic representatives for the United Nations Day Celebration on 24 October 2014 at the United Nations Office in Bangkok. The celebration started with a flag raising ceremony followed by short remarks delivered by the Deputy Executive Secretary of UNESCAP, Mr. Shun-ichi Murata.

UNESCAP member States flags, including the Philippines’, are raised at the same
time during the UN Day Commemoration on 24 October 2014 at the United Nations
Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand.
