“The Philippine Embassy in Thailand advises Filipinos to continue deferring non-essential travels to Thailand.  While the political unrest in Thailand has considerably simmered down, the peace and order situation  has yet to fully return to normal; hence, the continued imposition of curfew in Bangkok and 23 other provinces,  from 12 midnight to 4am, at least until May 29 (the Thai government will announce  later whether to extend the curfew beyond May 29). Filipinos who are already in Thailand are advised to avoid areas that are obviously unsafe, observe the curfew, be alert at all times, and contact the Embassy at +66 8 992 65954 in case of emergency.”
