BANGKOK, 27 FEBRUARY 2025 - The Philippine Embassy in Thailand participated in the 58th Diplomatic Participant Committee Bazaar 2025, scheduled from 27 February to 2 March at the Royal Paragon Hall, 5th Floor of Siam Paragon Shopping Center, Bangkok. The grand inauguration was graced by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
Organized by the Diplomatic Participant Committee in close collaboration with the Fund Raising Bureau of the Thai Red Cross Society (TRCS), the annual Diplomatic Bazaar continues to be a significant platform for diplomatic missions to showcase their country’s products, while contributing to humanitarian efforts.
The Philippine booth featured popular Filipino-made chips made by Thai Liwayway Food Industries. Their participation aims to introduce Filipino snack products to a wider Thai and international audience.
During her visit to the Philippine booth, Her Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn had a cordial conversation with Ambassador Millicent Cruz Paredes, expressing pleasure at her successful working visit to the Philippines in July 2024.
Following traditional practice, Ambassador Paredes also had the honor of presenting Her Royal Highness with gifts which included the book "Intramuros of Memory" by Dr. Jaime Laya and Esperanza Gatbonton, and packets of 7D Dried Mangoes, a favorite of Her Royal Highness. END
