BANGKOK, 13 DECEMBER 2024 - As part of the series of activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Thailand, the Philippine Embassy successfully hosted "One Night at Benjakitti: A Celebration of Filipino Music & Dance!" on Friday, 13 December 2024 at Benjakitti Park.

The vibrant community concert was well-attended by distinguished invitees, including the Bangkok Governor and his officials, esteemed members of the diplomatic corps, the lively Filipino community, Thai nationals and other guests.

The evening showcased a rich tapestry of music and dance, celebrating Filipino talent and cultural pride. Attendees were treated to an exciting lineup of performances by both seasoned and up-and-coming artists:

Formed in 2004, Project 94 is celebrated for their vibrant fusion of pop, rock, and alternative music. Infusing a distinct Filipino touch into their sound, they deliver heartfelt performances of iconic OPM classics, timeless international hits from the 80s and 90s, and contemporary favorites.
 
The performers captivated the audience with renditions of Original Pilipino Music (OPM), popular international hits, and mesmerizing dance numbers. From soulful ballads to high-energy performances, the event brought a sense of nostalgia, joy, and unity, and instlled the spirit of the holidays to all who attended.
 
The event not only celebrated Filipino artistry but also fostered camaraderie between the Filipino and Thai communities, reflecting the enduring friendship between the two nations.
