BANGKOK, 22 NOVEMBER 2024 – The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok conducted a consular outreach mission in Rayong Province, southeast of Bangkok, on 16 November 2024 to provide passport, notarial, updating of civil registry documents, and assistance-to-nationals services to Filipinos residing in the area and the nearby provinces.
As part of the mission, the Embassy team also visited an Overseas Filipino currently confined at Chonburi Hospital. During the visit, the team extended the necessary assistance to the distressed OF and his family.
The outreach mission covered Rayong Province and the Thai provinces of Trat, Chonburi, Chantaburi, Chachoengsao, and Sa Kaeo, which, according to the latest records from the Thai Immigration Bureau, are home to an estimated 2,600 overseas Filipinos, many of whom are employed as teachers. END
