OTOP Silapacheep 2024 Opening Ceremony

NONTHABURI, THAILAND, 13 AUGUST 2024 – Cultural Officer and Attaché, Evonne Avril Manayao represented Ambassador Millicent Cruz Paredes at the opening ceremony of the OTOP Silapacheep 2024. The event took place on Sunday, 11 August 2024, at the main stage of Challenger 2, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul who delivered the opening remarks. He highlighted the importance of supporting local products and artisans. He also emphasized the role of OTOP (One Tambon One Product) in promoting sustainable economic development.

OTOP Silapacheep 2024 is an annual event organized to honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. The exhibition showcases a diverse array of handcrafted products, reflecting Thailand’s rich cultural heritage and the ingenuity of its local artisans.
