BANGKOK, 02 AUGUST 2024 – The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok was honored to receive the Cabalen Group, headed by President and CEO Ms. Ma. Estela O. Nievera, and Chaixi Corporation, led by Chairman Mr. Panrob Kamla, on 31 July 2024.

Ambassador Millicent Cruz Paredes warmly welcomed the visitors and commended their collaborative efforts to strengthen trade and investment ties between the Philippines and Thailand. The Philippines’ Cabalen Group, renowned for its dedication to promoting Filipino cuisine and products, is embarking on a significant venture with Thailand’s Chaixi Corporation.

The joint venture is a strategic business move that underscores the growing partnership between the two companies. This initiative is expected to bolster economic activities, create job opportunities, and enhance the manufacturing and distribution of high-quality food products both locally and internationally.

In addition, the Cabalen Group is exploring further trade and investment opportunities with their Bangkok partners. They are engaging with potential collaborators to expand the import/export, retail, and distribution of their diverse range of Philippine food products under the Cabalen brand. This endeavor aligns with the Cabalen Group's mission to bring the rich flavors of Filipino cuisine to a global audience and strengthen the economic ties between the Philippines and its international partners.
