BANGKOK, 17 JULY 2024 - Philippine Ambassador to Thailand and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) Millicent Cruz Paredes paid a courtesy call on Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Director-General for Protocol, Mr. Chakkrid Krachaiwong, at the MFA headquarters on 16 July 2024 to personally thank the Protocol Department for its continued support and assistance to the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok.

Ambassador Paredes and Director-General Chakkrid also discussed the ongoing commemorative activities of the 75th Anniversary of Philippines-Thailand relations, including the exchange of high-level visits.

They noted the upcoming celebrations of the auspicious sixth cycle birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on 28 July 2024. END.
