The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines sponsored the first morning Misa de Gallo, a significant cultural and religious event in the Filipino Community on 16 December 2023 at the Holy Redeemer Church Bangkok, Thailand. First observed on 16 December 1977, this annual tradition is now on its 46th year.
The Misa de Gallo, also known as Simbang Gabi, holds great importance in the hearts of Filipinos worldwide, highlighting the Christmas season with a series of nine dawn masses leading up to Christmas Eve. The Embassy is proud to uphold the tradition of hosting this momentous event, fostering unity and spirituality among Filipinos residing in Thailand. END.
