Fire Officers from Khongtoey Fire Brigade and Rescue Station conducted a field training on fire control and evacuation for Philippine Embassy personnel on 3 November 2023.
BANGKOK, 07 November 2023 - The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, in cooperation with Khlong Toey Fire Rescue and Brigade Station, conducted a three-hour Fire Safety and Prevention Seminar and Fire Drill Exercise at the Embassy on 03 November 2023.
Embassy and Attached Agencies personnel, including Embassy security officers and cleaners participated in the said activity that included simulation of fire accidents, and the proper use of fire extinguishers. The Fire Rescue and Brigade Station brought different types of fire extinguishers and other equipment for the participants to have an actual experience of using fire extinguishers, and responding to fire accidents.
The training was part of the efforts of the Embassy in preparing its personnel to respond to emergency fire situations. END
Mr. Natthanet Wattanapong, Fire and Rescue Officer of Bangpho Fire and Rescue Station of Bangkok Fire and Rescue Department, gave a lecture on basic training and evacuation at the Philippine Embassy on 3 November 2023.
