BANGKOK, 24 September 2023 - The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) teamed up once again for the 2023 Special Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) in Thailand.

An eight-member team from the PRC traveled to Bangkok to administer the licensure examination scheduled for September 24, 2023.

This year's Special LEPT marks another significant achievement in the pursuit of professional excellence for Filipino teaching professionals. A total of 672 examinees based in different parts of Thailand and the neighboring countries have applied to take the examination. Last year, 851 prospective examinees applied to take the same licensure examination in Bangkok.

The Embassy appreciates the unwavering support and commitment of the Professional Regulation Commission and Filipino community for their invaluable cooperation in upholding the standards of the Philippine teaching profession, particularly the Filipino teaching community in Thailand. END
