BANGKOK, 21 September 2023 - The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand had the opportunity to attend the International Premiere and Gala Night of “Waterfall, A New Musical,” an extraordinary theatrical production that promises to captivate audiences with its mesmerizing storytelling and impressive showcase of artistry and talent. The cast includes four (4) world-renowned Filipino performers in leading roles.

With an exceptionally talented cast, including world-class actors Josh Dela Cruz, Jon Jon Briones, J. Elaine Marcos, and Orville Mendoza, along with world-class award-winning screenwriters and composers from New York, including Tony Award winner Richard Maltby, Jr. and Oscar Award winning composer David Shire, “Waterfall” promises to transport audiences on an emotional and spellbinding journey.

The musical tells a poignant and timeless love story set against the backdrop of a tumultuous historical period in Thailand. The musical weaves together themes of love, cultural diversity, and the pursuit of dreams. For its limited run, the musical is staged at Muangthai Rachadalai Theatre until 01 October 2023. END
