Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia paid a courtesy call on Mr. Panthep Klanarongran, President of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, and Professor Pakdee Pothisiri, Commissioner of National Anti-Corruption on 14 December 2012
Ambassador Batoon-Garcia, President Klanarongran and Comissioner Pothisiri discussed issues concerning efforts to curb anti-corruption and to promote good governance. Ambassador Batoon-Garcia also extended the invitation of Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile and Senator Edgardo Angara for the Thai officials to attend the 5th Global Conference of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC), which will be held in Manila, Philippines, from 30 January to 2 February 2013.
