Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Nikhom Wairatpanij, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Thailand on 28 November 2012.
Ambassador Batoon Garcia and Senate President Nikhom discussed the Philippine Senate’s hosting of the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) to be held in Manila on 30 January to 2 February 2013. During the call, the Senate President affirmed Thailand’s support for the initiate and participation in the activity.
They also reaffirmed the friendly relations between the two countries and the close ties between their peoples.
