BANGKOK, 29 DECEMBER 2022 – The Honorable Senator Maria Imelda “Imee” Romualdez Marcos held a “Roundtable Kamustahan” with leaders of various Filipino Community Organizations from across Thailand on 28 December 2022 at the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok.
Senator Marcos, who was visiting Bangkok, sought to meet Filipinos based in Thailand and listen to their stories and experiences in the Kingdom. The Senator conveyed the strong support of her Office for Overseas Filipinos and assured them of her continued engagement with concerned Philippine Government agencies, such as the Department of Migrant Workers’ Affairs and Department of Foreign Affairs, to address their needs and concerns.
The Roundtable Kamustahan was organized by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with the support of the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok. END
