World-renowned Filipino couturier and designer Mr. Renee Salud represented the Philippines in the 2022 Thai Silk Fashion Week with the first solo show held on 07 December at the Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
His 24-piece collection was inspired by roses and "Flores de Mayo," and traditional fabric from the Mindanao region in the Philippines.
Mr. Salud showcased his pieces made from Thai silk at the first half of his solo show and culminated with his grand Filipiniana collection of masterpieces highlighting the rich, colorful and intricate fabrics from Mindanao.
The 5-day fashion week is considered as one of the biggest fashion events held in Bangkok where participating designers from various countries and Thai designers were given the opportunity to showcase their collections of outfits made of Thai silk.
