BANGKOK, 21 MARCH 2022 – A team from the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok conducted a consular outreach mission held at Wang Tai Hotel in Surat Thani Province, Thailand on 19 March 2022 to provide passport, notarial and civil registry services to Filipinos in the area.
The consular outreach mission was held in parallel with Ambassador Millicent Cruz Paredes’ official visit to Surat Thani, which included a call on Governor Vijvut Tjinto and town hall meeting with the Filipino community on 18 and 19 March 2022, respectively.
Surat Thani is the largest province in southern Thailand. Majority of the Filipinos residing in the province and surrounding areas are employed in the education sector. END
