14 March 2022, Bangkok - H.E. Millicent Cruz Paredes, Ambassador of the Philippines of the Kingdom of Thailand, paid a visit to ICONSIAM mall in Bangkok on the invitation of Siam Piwat Co., Ltd., owner and operator of the prestigious and world-renowned retail and tourist destination.
Siam Piwat has been organizing special tours of the mall for Bangkok-based envoys of APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) member economies, in its capacity as an APEC 2022 Communication Partner of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is spearheading Thailand’s chairmanship and hosting of APEC 2022.
Ambassador Paredes was treated to a tour of the exhibition spaces in ICONSIAM, including the mall’s special APEC 2022 Exhibit to support the Royal Thai Government’s public communications campaign on the priorities and goals of APEC 2022.
The Ambassador also visited the ICON Art and Cultural Space, which currently hosts the Thailand Digital Arts Festival (TDAF 2022) and ICONCRAFT, the largest innovative craft design store specially curated with the best handicrafts of Thailand.
