The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the Kingdom of Thailand joins the nation in celebrating the 43rd National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week on 17 - 23 July 2021.

Pursuant to the Proclamation No. 1870 (1970), as amended by Proclamation No. 361 (2000) and Administrative Order No. 35 (2002), this weeklong event is being commemorated annually to stimulate public awareness on the issues and problems of disability, thereby encouraging every citizen of the country to take active responsibility in the upliftment of the economic and social conditions of all person with disabilities (PWDs) of our society.

The theme for this year’s NDPR Week is “Kalusugan at Kaunlaran ng Pilipinong May Kapansanan, Isulong sa Gitna ng Pandemya", which will focus on the health and economic empowerment of PWDs during this time of COVID-19 pandemic.
