The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok showcased creations by top Filipino designer Ms. Len Nepomuceno during a fashion show held on 14 June 2014 as part of the “Sanook Philippines: Philippine Fair 2014” exhibit.
The Fashion Show featured a collection of 12 designs by Ms. Nepomuceno with the piña fabric as the main material for the apparel. The show was very well received by the Embassy’s invited guests, which included members of the International Women’s Club, well-heeled members of the Thai society, officials of the CentralWorld Mall, members of the print and broadcast media and members of the Filipino Community. Mall-goers stopped to watch the show as models paraded Ms. Nepomuceno’s creations, with the exhibit area for Philippine costumes as their runway.
Ms. Nepomuceno is at present the Vice-President of the Fashion and Design Council of the Philippines (FDCP) whose members include internationally renowned and seasoned designers of the Philippines. END
