On 7 November 2018, Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon attended the opening ceremony of the Asian Prosthetic and Orthotic Scientific Meeting (APOSM) 2018 and the 4th ASEAN Seminar on Multi-disciplinary Care for Children with Mobility Impairments held at Narai Hotel, Bangkok.

The theme of APOSM 2018 is, “Prosthetics and Orthotics Empowering Asia”, which aims to foster cooperation among regional organizations, and will explore how WHO, ISPO, ICRC and IC2A can work in concert to orchestrate the provision of Prosthetics and Orthotics in the region.
