On 22 October 2018, Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon attended the Stone Laying Ceremony of the King Rama IX International Mangrove Botanical Garden held at Ban Samet Ngam in Chantaburi Province.

The Event was organized by the National Legislative Assembly of Thailand (NLA) (Thailand’s Parliament) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was presided by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, daughter of the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej (King Rama IX). This was followed by tree planting by members of the Diplomatic Corps.
