ACCREDITATION OF MASS MEDIA ENTITIES AND CIVIL SOCIETY PARTNERS FOR THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ELECTIONS OVERSEAS VOTING

 

With reference to COMELEC Resolution No. 11082 (https://comelec.gov.ph/?r=2025NLE/Resolutions/res11082) of 20 November 2024, the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok informs the public that those who were unable to file applications for accreditation as media, election observer, and civil society partner until the deadline on 05 April 2025 (Saturday), may still file their applications subject to the approval of the COMELEC.

The requirements include:
1. Duly accomplished Accreditation Application Form (https://comelec.gov.ph/.../AnnexAAccreditationForm.pdf);
2. Two 2”x2” photographs (taken in the last six (6) months);
3. Endorsement Letter from the organization being represented;
4. For mass media entities, endorsement from the appropriate officer of the newspaper company, television or radio station, internet company, broadcast entity or film distributor which employs the applicant or has committed to air, distribute, or commission the work; and,
5. In case of freelancers, a valid assignment letter from a bona fide media organization.
