The Philippine Embassies in Thailand and Myanmar welcome the positive developments achieved through relentless efforts by the Philippine government in coordinating and cooperating with relevant authorities in Thailand and Myanmar.

The Philippine government expects to repatriate Filipinos who are trapped in the border area between Myanmar and Thailand at the earliest possible opportunity while abiding by the rules and regulations established by the Royal Thai Authorities (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security-DATIP, Royal Thai Police, and RTP-Immigration).

We kindly request for the patience and cooperation of all relevant stakeholders as the Philippine government continues to ensure the safe and orderly repatriation of all Filipinos in distress.
